My ceramic work is rooted in memories of the natural world.  Weathered stone, bark, fossils and the layered surface of the forest floor become starting points for forms that feel both discovered and imagined.  Through clay, I explore the space between memory and imagination - creating objects that exist somewhere between artifact, organism, and place.
